Description

Tithe map of Tonge (parish), Kent. Shows gardens (coloured), farmyards, rick yard, boundary tree, hedge and fence ownership, arable, grassland; orchards, woods and hop grounds (all coloured); footpath and/or bridleway, waterbodies, sea wall. Decorative compass indicator with plumes and oak-leaf boss. Scale: 1 inch to 3 chains. Construction lines shown. By William Huntly, Dover.

With 3 altered apportionment maps. 1] Dated 13 October 1860, at 1 inch to 3 chains. 2] Dated 27 January 1903, at 1:2500. 3] Dated 8 January 1920. Other altered apportionment maps are located with the apportionment.
