Description

Tithe map of Tonbridge (parish), Kent. Shows buildings (named), parkland and woods (both named), waterbodies, river lock. Named roads; turnpike roads distinguished; toll gates. Industrial land-use: mills, brick yard, pot kiln, powder mills. Colouring used. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains; enlargement of urban parts at 1 inch to 1 chain [1:792]. By W Brown, Tonbridge.
