Some foreshore features depicted; cliffs, coastline, beaches, pier. Named roads; turnpike roads distinguished. Industrial land-use: mines, mining tunnel, shafts, engine, cobbing house, counting house, clock, timber yard. Colouring used. Decorative cartouche; landscape with church and ship above scale bar, beneath which are winged lions and horses, trident, scallop shell, and chains; map title on plaque surrounded by cornucopia and flowers. Scale: 1 inch to 4 chains. Map bears some notes on sales and purchase activity on land taken up by canal and tunnel
