Captured ship: St John Baptist of Conquet (master Claude Aricq [otherwise Arick]; prize master Jan Burfitt, otherwise John Burfitt).
History: a French merchant ship (14-18 tons; built at Argenton, bound from Bordeaux to Conquet and Argenton, laden with wine; taken about 30 October/9 November 1673 between Ushant and the Seames [Chaussée de Sein], or about 18 leagues off Conquet, by the 16-gun Dutch privateer Orangia [Oranje] of Flushing (John Peterson Spitts commanding); retaken on 7/17 November 1673 off Plymouth by HMS Henrietta (Sir John Narborough commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
