Folios 240-241: Isaac Wolley, HMS Nonsuch. In response to Admiralty enquiry, says that the nine men impressed from the ship Traveller were harpooners, boat---s, and line managers, who were protected for the voyage to Greenland but when the ship returned from her voyage were impressed - he had supposed that their protections were out of date. Folios 242-245: enclosure with folios 240-241. Two examples of clean (unfilled in) protection forms for men of the Southern Whale Fishery, which exempts them from being pressed during the voyage and for the season, provided they are on board ship, and with various caveats. They are not protected after 14 days from the completion of the voyage.
