The London Strategy and Co-ordination Unit (LCSU) was set up in 1995 to provide a Secretariat for the Government Office for London (GOL) and existed until 2011. A function of the unit was to manage the setup of the London Development Agency (LDA) under GOL sponsorship. Although run by GOL, LSCU reported to the Greater London Authority (GLA) since that authority's inception in 2000.
