Description

Folios 429-430: Joseph Packwood, HMS Wasp, Limerick. Bad weather has forced him to arrive here with dispatches for Lord Nelson which he has sent off by the Post Office. He was unable to deliver the secret letter to him as he met with no Captain so he has returned it. The letter from Rear Admiral Knight from Cape St Vincent is also included.

Folio 431: enclosure with folios 429-430. Report dated 29 May 1805 from Patrick Murray Carpenter and Joseph Packwood, HMS Trident. Defects of HMS Trident.
