Description

Folios 152-153: John Tower, HMS Curacao, Milford Haven. Covering letter for enclosed depositions [Inc.] taken before the Chief Magistrate at the Cape of Good Hope relating to the treatment of some sailors:- Nathaniel Cool, Thomas Burnell, John Stalton? and John Horne, in the Inspector [John Walker] Whaler. The men having been forwarded with their Supernumeraries to Rear Admiral Robert Stopford.

Folios 154-155: enclosure with folios 152-153. Deposition Nathaniel Cool, Thomas Burnell, John Stalton and John Horne of the English Whaler the Inspector, John Walker Master riding at anchor at Saldanha Bay. [First four sides]. Dated 27 June 1811.
