Description

Folios 132-133: John Tower, HMS Curacao, Milford Haven. Reports that HMS Curacao anchored today in Milford Haven with the Earl of Caledon and Suite from the Cape, which they left on the 4 July 1811. He has anchored here not only to send dispatches but to enable Lord Caledon to transport his servants and baggage to Ireland. The dispatches bearing the address of His Majesty's Principal secretary of State from the Isle of France, are of considerable importance, he judged it advisable to forward them in charge of a trustworthy and excellent Officer of HMS Curacao Mr Robert Pearce, Master's Mate

Folios 134-135: enclosure with folios 132-133. John Tower, HMS Curacao, Milford Haven. Note:- Curacao's defects to be made good at Spithead on her arrival with all expeditious.
