Folios 235-236: James Hanway Plumridge, HMS Sappho, Dunleary. Letter outlining the entry of Ordinary Seaman John Hynes onboard under his command on 20 Aug to that of suggested enticement, and a list of enclosures within.
Folios 237-238: enclosure with folios 235-236. Mr Griffiths, HMS Sappho, Dunleary. Letter dated 13 September 1820 confirming that John Hynes volunteered to serve on 20 Aug as a seaman on the recommendation of several of his friends.
Folios 239-240: enclosure with folios 235-236. Robert Wilhurry, Surgeon, HMS Sappho, Dunleary. Letter dated 11 September 1820 confirming examination of John Hynes as a seaman aboard ship. Captain lists three enclosures but only two are to hand.
