Description (What the record is about)

Folios 354-355: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Prince Regent, Kingston. Reports that he has heard from Captain William Owen on Lake Huron and expects him return. He has decided to send his Pendant Officer, Acting Lieutenant George Woodward, with his baggae to Quebec, to be embarked on board a Transport. If he hears nothing by 10 November, he should proceed to The Downs and report his arrival to The Admiralty. Acting Lieutenant Woodward has served with him for 7 years, including the time on the Lakes, and he recommends him for confirmation as a Lieutenant.
