Description

Folios 295-296: Henry Trollope, HMS Glatton, Long Reach. Acknowledging the letter dated 2 June 1795 requesting a daily return on the progress of HMS Glatton and enclose one for to days date. The ship is complete in all her stores, Powder excepted, which was to be onboard today but we await a proper vessel to bring it down and this is expected tomorrow. On Saturday, if the wind permits, he proposes sailing for the Nore. The lack of reports was due to not having a clerk and doing the Warrant Officers business.
