Description

Folios 188-189: Andrew Smith, Regulating Officer, Leith Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 19 January 1814 in the case of Bartholomew Morrison, Boatswain on the Thornton come to the port on the Clio? He was at the urgent request of Mr Bruce the constable impressed on the quay for fighting with Robert Tenison? and breaching the peace of the Town.

Folios 190-191: enclosure with folios 188-189. Covering letter for the enclosed [Inc.] memorial of William Lee for the discharge of Bartholomew Morrison of the Greenland Ship Thornton. Signed Martin & Scholefield?.

Folios 192-193: enclosure with folios 188-189. Memorial of William Lee, Managing Owner of the Whale Fishing Ship Thornton of the Port of Hull.

Folio 194: enclosure with folios 188-189. Certificate that Bartholomew Morrison gave security by Bond 18 August 1813 to proceed as a Boatsteerer on board the Thornton.
