Description

Folios 351-352: James Pattison Stewart, HMS Dictator, Long Reach. Covering letter for enclosed from Lieutenant Thomas Duell who was left behind at Wingo? in a boat and has only just rejoined today. Recommend him and another Peter Morrison, Midshipman.

Folios 353-354: enclosure with folios 351-352. Letter dated 5 October 1812 by Thomas Duell, Lieutenant, HMS Dictator, Kings Sound. Report on an incident with a Danish Majesty lugger No 28 [Coorninar?] with a Lieutenant and 12 men and the good conduct of Peter Morrison, Master's Mate and the Assistant Surgeon for his treatment of the Danish wounded.
