Description

Folios 501-502: Andrew Smith, Greenock. He refers to Robert Ingram who has been impressed and is on his way to Plymouth.

Folios 503-504: enclosure with folios 501-502. Letter dated 10 May 1812 by Janet Ingram, Greenock . She writes about her son Robert Ingram. She says he is 17 an apprenticed to Messrs John Campbell Senior & Company of Glasgow. She wants her son released and asks what sum of money will secure that.
