Description

Captured ship: Mary of Larvick (Peter Lorentsen or Lorentzen Master).

History: a Danish (Norwegian) merchant ship (20 lasts) bound from Le Havre to Copenhagen, laden with wine, tapestries, gladd, vinegar, molasses, angeletts, apples, pears and scissors ''for the King of Denmark's brother'; taken during March 1692 by the privateer Seaventure (Edward Slater commanding), and brought into Rye.
