Details of accident: He was a 3rd Class Passenger by the 8 PM train from Newcastle and on it, drawing up at North Shields, he jumped out of the carriage, came in contact with one of the pillars of the shed and was thrown between the platform and the footboard of a 3rd Class Carriage. He was taken to the Infirmary and admitted that no one was to blame for the accident but himself.
