Details of accident: The 1 pm Goods train which was being shunted came in contact with a horse and cart belonging to Mr Oliver of Lockside. The horse jumped forwards and carried a portion of the cart out of the way, but Dodds who was at the horse's head was knocked down and several of the wagons passed over his legs
