Folios 263-264: James Stevenson, HMS Europa, Tagus, [Portugal]. Sailed from Minorca 24 May on Lord St Vincent’s orders convoying HMS Calcutta, HMS Ulysses transports and fourteen light transports besides the Mediterranean trade. Arrived 17 June to embark the first and fifteenth Regiments for Ireland. Could only embark 1st Regiment till the 17th Light Dragoons arrived put them onboard HMS Calcutta. General [Cornelius] Cuyler requested he remain with HMS Europa and HMS Ulysses to receive the 15th Regiment when the 17th Dragoons arrive, not before 30th. If they don’t arrive will sail with light transports and trade for England. HMS Ulysees to wait for 15th Regiment as it’s not strong.
