Folios 162-163: D W McLeod [Donald McLeod ?], Mr Maude's, Great George St, Westminster. Reports that he lives on the River Medway near the end of Stangate Creek and can sea that many men escape the press by going ashore there as soon as their vessels are released from quarantine. Adds that there is no rendezvous at or near Chatham, where many men are idle. Asks to be allowed to commission HMS Princess of Orange and use her to collect men.
