Encloses letter of proceedings (folios 89-104): J Leslie Burr, Commander, HMS Porpoise at Hong Kong dated 18 October 1892 to Captain Angus MacLeod RN, Senior Officer, Hong Kong, reporting on proceedings in search of the Bokhara which also includes a detailed description on how the ship wrecked (folios 94-104).
Encloses letter (folio 105): A Marshall, for superintendent, dated 13 October 1892 to Commodore, requesting that one of HM ships is being sent to look for the Bokhara.
Encloses letter (folios 105-106): Angus MacLeod, Captain and Senior Officer, dated 13 October 1892 to the superintendent, P&O Co, informing that HMS Porpoise has been prepared but needs a guarantee that the expenses will be covered by the company.

Encloses letter (folio 107): A Marshall, for superintendent, dated 13 October 1892 to Captain A MacLeod, acknowledging the circumstances and confirms that without much a guarantee he cannot comply with the request.
Encloses sailing orders (folios 108-110): Angus MacLeod, dated 14 October 1892 to John Leslie Burr Esquire, Commander of Her Majesty's Ship Porpoise, instructing HMS Porpoise to visit some Treaty Ports to communicate with Consuls as to the state of affairs in these districts. Stating however that should the Bokhara be met with and assistance given, the other orders should be cancelled.
