Subject of depositions: Place called the Blackfryers, in or near the city of Canterbury (part of which is in the possession of defendant Peters, and was formerly in the possession of his father Peter de la Pierra alias Peters). Whether such 'place' was formerly a religious house, and anciently reputed to be a privileged place out of the liberty of the city of Canterbury, and distinct from the parish of St. Alphage, no parcel thereof, and exempt from the payment of tithes to the minister of the parish of St. Alphage. Tithes.
