Description

Folios 258-259: Thomas Rogers, HMS Kent, off Rochefort. Encloses a letter from Chaplain the Reverend James Stuart, hopes the Admiralty can comply with his request.

Folios 260-261: enclosed with folios 258-259. Letter from the Reverend James Stuart, HMS Kent, at sea, to the Admiralty, 19 December 1806. Asks to be appointed to another ship or, alternatively, to tender his resignation.
