Folios 71-72: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Acknowledge receipt of letter dated 13 March 1803 enclosing a note from Mr Erving the American Consul respecting seventeen men impressed from the Maryland, Martha & Isis and directing him to state their cases. He sends a statement of the manner how they have been disposed of. [Folio 72] List of seventeen names and any action taken. Maryland :- John Dryden, John Gould, James Murray, Elijah Truscott, William Pinkney & John Philips. Isis :- George Cox. Maryland :- Thomas Hodgel & James Davis AKA James Hodge & Thomas Davis, George Barret impressed at Greenhithe from the Amelia. Martha :- Paul Chase, Warwich Coats, Charles Kilburn, Nicholas Johnson, John A Smith, William Coates & John Williams. .
