Court and Date of Trial: Perthshire Sheriffs Court, Stirling, August 1849.
Crime: Theft.
Initial sentence: Nine months imprisonment.
Outcome: Died in Stirling Gaol 24 September 1849.
Petitions and letters: Petition from Agnes McLean (or Agnes Young) (mother); letter from William Forbes MP transmitting the petition to the Home Office; letter from Robert Camplen (Clerk of the Stirling Prison Board) reporting the prisoner's death to the Home Office.
