Folios: 424v-425. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter F. Grant.
First party: William de Redburne [Redbourne].
Second party: Philip Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: 4½ acres of land in the territory of Cokerington [Cockerington], two acres of which lie in Haringsic in three selions, lying next by the ditch towards the west between Haringsic and the field, and two and a half acres lie in the west field in seven selions, three of which lie in Wilg between the land of Robert de Crepping on the west side and the land of John le Vavasur [Vavasour] on the east side, and they abut towards the north upon Wudegate and towards the south upon the path which leads towards Stiveton [Stewton]; and two selions lie in Kirketofthil between the land of Walter son of Osbert on the north side and the land of John le Vavasur [Vavasour] on the south side, and it abuts towards the west upon the headland of Richard Wudecoc and towards the east upon the path which leads towards Langmare; and one selion lies there next by the same land of John le Vavasur on the south side, and it abuts on both ends, just as those two selions; and one selion lies on the east side of Wudeberg between the land of Hugh son of Gamel on the south side and Nicola's on the north side, and it abuts towards the west upon the headland [blank] and towards the east upon the land of Robert Burre. Fully and entirely without any reservation. For 30s which Philip gave to William. To hold to Philip and his heirs and assigns of William and his heirs freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to William and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all suits of courts and services, customs and exactions.
