Second party: Ranulf Russell, son of John de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Two acres of arable land lying in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] and one ditch called Deyldich, namely between the land which was of Walter son of Hannine on the west side and the land of Eudo Bentelyn on the east side, whose limits abut towards the north upon Neudic and towards the south upon the land which was of Robert de Lindesaia [Lindsey], which is to say the whole land with appurtenances which Robert had in that place, wiith buildings and easements pertaining to it. For 20s. To hold to Ranulf and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, honourably, in fee and inheritance, paying 2d yearly to the lord of the fee, namely at the feast of St Botolph, for all services, secular customs and demands.
