Place or subject: The gift which Fulk Painel, his father, made to William Painel from Brugh Walteri [Bridgwater], namely the whole manor of Bridgwater with all appurtenances, the service of Stodlegh and Holecumbe [Holcombe], and the service of Philip de Horsia [Horsey], namely the service of half a knight in Horsey, the service of one knight in Paulicta, the service of one knight in Buri and all other services and homages, which pertain to the manor, with all liberties and free customs pertaining to it, just as Fulk's charters bear witness. To hold of William Painel and his heirs by the service of half a knight for all service and exaction.
