Part 1, Folios 192-193. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. The Duke is sorry to see no likelihood of peace. As for news, Mr Secretary Jenkins has asked leave to resign his post on the grounds of infirmity and will be succeeded by Mr Godolphin 'who will fill that place very well'; there is no word yet of Lord Dartmouth; also an update about the pirates under Laurens de Graaf.
