Part 1, Folios 115-116. Letter dated at London from the Duke of York to the Prince of Orange. The Duke is very glad that the Prince was able to achieve his aim [of relieving Mons] without a second engagement. By now the Prince will have seen Mr Hyde and 'found that what' the Prince 'desired was done by advance'. The Duke, after reassuring the Prince that nothing shall be wanting on our part, gives details of the troops to be sent to Flanders although in order to mislead the French word will be that they go to Brabant.
