Description

Captured ship: Fortune of Enkhuizen (master unknown).

History: a Dutch merchant ship ([buss, 'an old rotten vessel'], 40 tons, [prize crew 6 men]; taken on 2/12 October 1672 at anchor on the Whitewater Bank (southern North Sea) by HMS Princess (Richard Munden commanding) and brought into Harwich on 14/24 October 1672.
