Description

Folio 505: Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool. Inclosing an order and report of survey on Jacob Dorien.

Folio 506: enclosure with folio 505. Letter dated 19 October 1804 by Samuel Colquitt, HMS Princess, Liverpool, to Peter Lindsay, Agent for sick and wounded seamen at Liverpool and William Piercy, Surgeon on HMS Princess. Mr Lindsay in his letter of 17 October 1804 has said that Jacob Dorien is a fit object for invaliding and requesting a survey on him. He is now ordering Lindsay and Piercy to take a strict and careful survey on Jacob Dorien. Persuant to this order, 23 October 1804, Piercy and Lindsay confirm that Jacob Dorien, a consumptive, is fit for invaliding.
