Folio 225. Memorandum from Mr Kinsley. 'Mr Kinsley known to Lord Macartney seven years in ?our service, then in the Russian has just resigned. Samuel Walker master of a foundry at Masborough [Masbrough] near Rotherham in the West Riding of Yorkshire near Sheffield who had a large contract with Government is much disaffected, and said to be casting a number of light pieces 3 or 4 pounders. Also mentions meetings of the Protestant Association going on in the West Riding, that Kinsley was connected with the D[uke] of Richmond, and Effingham. While G [George] Lord Saville says that when 'beating' an order to recruit more marines, he should be able to get 'intelligence of consequence'.
