Folios 86-87. A letter from John Robinson, dated at Syon Hill [Middlesex], introducing the bearer, Mr Green 'the smuggler who has furnished several times useful intelligence'. Green, who has been seeking a pardon, has 'just come over with some serviceable propositions on which I have wrote to Mr Stephens'. Folio 87. A memorandum concerning Thomas Green who, with others including Ambrose Cannon, was indicted at the Lent Assizes in Sussex in 1759 for the murder of Thomas Coles. He was condemned and executed in 1774.
