Captured ship: St François or St Francis of St Malo (master François Sorin).
History: a French merchant ship (16 tons, abandoned by her crew) on an unknown voyage [from west France], laden with sugar; taken on 30 March / 9 April 1690 off Alderney by the privateer Mary Sloop (Thomas Snow commanding) and brought into Jersey.
