Captured ship: De Valck or Falcon of Stockholm (master Johan Stanke or Stanueke).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (200 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Stockholm, laden with wine, prunes and paper; taken on 31 July / 10 August 1697 off Land's End by HMS Britannia (William Buckingham commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
