The Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) was the Sector Skills Council responsible for financial services, accountancy and finance. The FSSC was licensed by the UK government to work in partnership with employers to provide strategic and responsible leadership for training, education and development for the industry in the UK.
During February-March 2011, the FSSC introduced its new name the Financial Skills Partnership (FSP) to all professional bodies, trade associations, industry stakeholders, awarding bodies, schools, colleges, training and learning providers. This was accompanied by a phased launch of their new Partnership Programme also during Spring 2011.
