Folios 203-204. Letter from Edwd [Edward] Stanley, Secretary to the Commissioners of Customs, to Richard Sutton that the Customs House at Minehead [Somerset] having been broken into and 11 casks of brandy and rum stolen (some of which has been recovered), the Commissioners are offering a reward of £50 for the apprehending of any of the offenders but fear this will not have the desired effect unless the King's pardon is also promised to any of the offenders who name one or more of his accomplices. They request such promise be obtained and advertised in The Gazette.
