Captured ship: Anthony or San Antonio of Lisbon (master Francisco Martin).
History: a Portuguese merchant ship (c.35 tons), allegedly bound from La Rochelle to Riga, laden with wine and salt but in ballast after capture, due to unlading the cargo in Calais and then proceeding to London; seized on 16/26 November [1692 ?]near Sandown Castle by the privateers St George (Richard Edwards commanding) and Success (Thomas Pye commanding) and brought into Dover.
