Folios 239-240. Letter from Saml [Samuel] Garbett at Birmingham to William Burke. Garbett believes that the same generous disposition which influences Secretary Conway to prevent workmen going to Sweden will influence him when he reads the two enclosed accounts relating to plate iron and bar iron and the difficulties with the Customs' Commissioners about the levying of duty. Mr D'Grey, the Solicitor-General is mentioned as are John Wiggin, Roebuck and Garbett's agent at Carron Wharf near St Pauls and one Kenaway an employee of Garbett's company who has gone from Scotland to Sweden.
