Description

Folios 98-99. Letter from Jer [Jeremy] Gregory, [Clerk of the Cheque] at Chatham Dock, to Edmd [Edmund] Drommer at Batson's coffee house in Cornhill that Sir Edward Gregory and the officers at Chatham will 'inform James Vernon's son in all business relating to the navy transacted in this port' which will be to his advantage 'by having opportunity to see the springs that give motion to so many wheels, a matter worthy his observation'.
