Folio 79. To Queen Anne.
The case of Mr Johnston who was emplyed in secret services by King William, but who was captured in France, and for a time thought to have been assasinated. A fellow prisoner in Provence who escaped informed Ambassador Stanhope that Johnston was still in prison. A recommendation that Mr Walpole in Paris should find out more from Stanhope and try to arrange for the release of this British citizen.
