Petition for pension payments to be resumed, and following the suspension between 1709 and 1714. The pension was granted by Queen Anne following her husband's desertion of her to marry several other women and produce 'spurious mechanick offspring'. She fears for the reputation of her husband's noble family, when his father, the Marquis of Douglas dies.
