Description

Part 1, Folio 87. From Commissioners of Customs. To Duke of Newcastle. Place: Custom House, London.

Instructions have been given for the preservation and re-shipment to France, of the cargo of the French ship 'St John Baptist', John Valckenier master, which sprang a leak whilst en route from Dunkirk to Rochfort and was forced by bad weather on to the Essex coast.
