Condition/Injury/Disease: Multiple Fractures and Injuries; Rheumatism.
Details and Outcome: Patient admitted suffering with multiple fractures of the teeth and face, dislocation of the right thigh, sprain of the right ankle and abrasions of the face, lip, legs and scrotum. Wounds sustained in aeroplane crash at Al Masa near Cairo 18 September 1918. During course of treatment patient underwent operation, and was also treated for rheumatism. Further details given. Found permanently unfit by Medical Board and recommended for repatriation to South Africa. Includes three medical case sheets.
