Condition/Injury/Disease: Gunshot Wound of Buttock; Conjunctivitis and Photophobia.

Details and Outcome: Patient admitted for two periods of treatment in France, England and Mesopotamia suffering with a severe gunshot wound of the left buttock, and conjunctivitis and photophobia. Gunshot wound sustained at Hebuterne on the Somme 19 October 1916. During first course of treatment patient underwent X-ray and operation. Further details given. Outcome not stated. Contains patient's home address. Includes two Princess Henry of Battenberg's Hospital for Officers medical case sheets, two medical case sheets, three medical transfer certificates and an ophthalmic report.
