Description

Envelope, unmarked, containing three postcards and two photographs, [Highland Railway 4-4-0 locomotives]:

Postcards, monochrome photographic images:

1) 9 cm x 14 cm, side view, [No.] '126' 'Loch Tummel', [unidentified location], 'F Moore's Railway Photographs', undated [image c 1910].

2) 9 cm x 14 cm, side view, [No.] '125' 'Loch Tay', [unidentified location], 'The Locomotive Publishing Company, No. 165', undated [image c 1910].

3) 14 cm x 9 cm, No. '14392' [ex Highland No. 132 'Loch Naver'] emerging from tunnel, unidentified location, undated [c 1930].

Photographs, monochrome, 9 cm x 14 cm, side three-quarter views, manuscript note on reverse, signed 'H C Casserley':

4) 'LMS [London Midland and Scottish Railway] [No.] 14380 [ex Highland No. 120 'Loch Ness'], at Inverness, 19 [July] [1931]'.

5) 'Dalnarpidal, 15 [May] [1928]', [No. 14392, ex Highland No. 133 'Loch Laochal'], [see also ZSPC11/598/16/5].
