Printed prize appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Antigua.
Captured ship: Patty brig (first capture) (master William Egery).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from New York to Guadeloupe, laden with wine, dry goods, sugar boilers, sugar pots and other merchandise; taken on 6 December 1805 by the privateer Maria Mischief (Alexander Billington commanding), and brought into Montserrat.
Appellant: Benjamin Roget supercargo for the cargo on behalf of Isaac Roget merchant of New York, American citizen.
Respondent: The captor.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 30 November 1808 (folios 144-147).
Decision: part condemned as lawful prize of the captor, part to be restored.
