Papers relating to the case of Captain Oliver Gordon of the ship 'St George' in the Lisbon trade, suspected of stealing and holding at Lowestoft, Suffolk, gold and diamonds, the property of Solomon Dacosta Seniora, who died on his ship, comprising: a letter about Justices able to act in Lowestoft; examination of James Hallyburton, Commandant of the Tower of London; examination of Gordon; warrant for committing Gordon; warrant for arresting Jonathan Welch (Gordon's alleged accomplice); a further examination of Gordon, with covering letter; two draft letters to Captain Barlow in Lowestoft; copy letter from Gordon to Hallyburton; and six letters reporting investigations by the Suffolk justices.
