Cuttings, unidentified, undated [model railway] publication, [c 1950], identical line-drawn illustration of double bracket stop and distant signals:
1) white background.
2) red background.
Photographs, monochrome, Great Western Railway signals, all marked '[photographer] M Windeatt':
3) 10 cm x 7 cm, mounted on card, typed note on reverse 'Repeater signal, down starter, main line at Norton Fitzwarren, later removed and replaced by short-post signal and banner repeater at footbridge', undated [c 1958].
Two photographs, 14 cm x 9 cm, bound together, typed notes on reverse, '12 [September] 1959', 'Vale of Neath section, Pontllanfraith station, view showing the signals on the Up platform with Starter [and] Distant having repeat lower arms':
4) 'Front aspect with the arms 'Off''.
5) 'Rear aspect with the arms 'Off''.
Two photographs, 14 cm x 9 cm, bound together, typed notes on reverse 'Cardiff [to] Swansea section, at Skewen':
6) 'Showing the typical standard GWR [Great Western Railway] signals for the Up Main East Distant [and] West Bute Home with repeat arms and the reversed spectacles to ensure vision also relief loop arm, 7 [March] 1958'.
7) 'Showing the modern type re-placement signals of those shown [at 6], 30 [October] 1959'.
